Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center Microbiome Core Facility provides UI researchers with the necessary technology and expertise for routine microbiota analysis in many types of samples. We Provide consultation, experimental, and analysis support. The Microbiome Core can provide advice on how to approach projects depending on the investigator's objectives and flexibility in the standardization of protocols. Our 16S rRNA (V3-V4) amplicon sequencing pipeline includes DNA isolation, Library Preparation, MiSeq sequencing (collaborating with the Genomic Core), and data analysis.
